Company History
The Family Medical Center of Hart County consists of a board-certified Family Practitioner, two board-certified Pediatricians, a Practice Administrator and 40 employees. Dr. James W. Middleton Jr. founded the practice in July 1977. He received his BA and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kentucky. He received his MD from the University of Louisville in 1974 and completed his family practice residency training at the Trover Clinic. His wife, Dr. Lynn Salisbury, received her BA and MD from the University of Louisville. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Louisville and joined the clinic in 1979. Dr. Ann Marie Hemmer, our second pediatrician, joined our practice in 1999 after received her BS and MD from the University of Kentucky. She completed her pediatric residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
