Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified and experienced nurse practitioner preceptors to join our team to provide clinical preceptorship for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. Preceptors can expect to earn a generous fee per student.
Preceptors have full autonomy to structure their teaching style and clinical schedule in collaboration with their students, whether through telehealth or in-person at their place of employment or business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical mentor to NP and PA students by providing telehealth, hands-on learning opportunities, or a combination of both.
- Collaborate with students to define the terms of the clinical experience, including schedule, location (telehealth or in-person), and weekly hours.
- Verify and document student clinical hours weekly to ensure compliance with their program requirements.
- Communicate with the student’s educational institution as needed, including using online portals to verify hours on a minimum of a once-a-week basis.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Active and unencumbered board-certified nurse practitioner license (FNP, WHNP, PMHNP, AGPCNP, AGCNS), licensed therapist (LMFT), or clinical psychologist (PsyD).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice experience.
- The ability to provide a clinical setting (telehealth or in-person at your workplace or private practice) for the student to complete their required hours.
- Commitment to mentoring and supporting students’ educational journeys.
