Angel Kids Pediatrics is seeking full time licensed nurse practitioner to join its innovative pediatric practice in Jacksonville, FL. Triage incoming patient calls for a pediatric practice. Must demonstrate sound clinical judgement with accurate and thorough documentation of patient calls and instructions provided.


  • In a physician office setting performs duties including but not limited to working with our call center answering phones, triaging calls, taking and returning messages per providers’ instructions.
  • Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participates in quality improvement and utilization review activities.
  • Calling in medications to pharmacy
  • Collaborates with others in providing in-service education as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must possess current state LPN license and CPR certification.
  • Minimum of two to four years of pediatric experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
  • Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
  • Strong charting/documentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
