A hospital in central Kentucky has an opportunity for a CRNA to provide sporadic locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: 7a-3p
• Beeper Call: Weekdays (3p-7a), weekends (7a-7p)
• Cases: Bread and butter, general surgery, urology, ENT, OB, ortho, ophthalmology, and pediatric dental
• Will handle epidurals for OB cases
• Facility: 5 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 urology suite
• Independent practice
• EMR: Meditech
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, attend seasonal events at a county fairgrounds, stroll along a scenic riverfront greenway, and paddle, fish, or jet ski on an expansive lake nestled in a massive state park.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) Kentucky state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) program
• One year of work experience as CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists)
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
